It's time for another old walkthrough from Patreon! This artwork was drawn back in December of 2016. If you're new here, I've been taking old art tips and advice from my Patreon account and repurposing them for this blog post. I clean things up a little and expand a bit, all to help you guys out!
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but hopefully a little walkthrough can make up for it! This is an older artwork I drew in October of 2016! :) If you'd like to see a more recent portrait walkthrough, you can view it here. (Has a video to go along with it!)
Recently I held a paintalong on my Twitch channel, where I drew this portrait live from an empty canvas all the way to a completed painting. I wanted to share it for the long term, so for those who've missed it still have the opportunity to check it out!
IT. IS. TIME. You guys LOVED the first video of me talking about five mistakes I myself and other Copic (or any alcohol based marker) artists make, so now I'm back with a sequel!
Morning ya'll! :D So not too long ago, I made a video talking about tracing. It's a common hot-button topic amongst those inside and out of the art community, and I felt it was important to address it. If you haven't already seen it, I definitely recommend it, regardless of your feelings towards tracings.
Happy Friday everyone! I hope you've been having a great week ^^ Here's another old artwork and walkthrough from October of 2016 previously only available on Patreon.
Almost every day I get or see a comment along the lines of "I'm afraid to draw x", be it hands, feet, animals, cars, perspective, backgrounds, realism, watercolor, acrylic, digital--anything you can imagine. Inspired to talk about it, I went ahead and typed up this impromptu blog post. So let's get chatting ;)
Remember these lips? This is an old study from October 23, 2016. This walkthrough and subsequent video tutorials were originally for my Patreon page and I'm now making public for all of ya'll! :D
Happy day everyone, hope ya'll are well! Here's another old walkthrough I made back in September of 2016 :)
Going off of my last video of tips on starting and finishing your sketchbook, let's continue on this new year celebration chain of tackling common artist problems! This is ALL about finding inspiration and fighting that pesky artist's block!
