A few of you have been wanting me to try out different paper, and I was lucky enough to stumble upon a large sketchbook of Canon's marker paper for only 10$. How could I say 'no' at an opportunity like that? ;)
Good morning everyone! I hope ya'lls week has been well and that the weekend will be even better! :D I find it a bit timely how my sketchbook tips video went out this month and I also just finished up my current sketchbook! There's definitely no greater satisfaction than reaching that last page, closing up that chapter of your artistic life, and going forward to a new one.
Happy day everyone, hope ya'll are well! Here's another old walkthrough I made back in September of 2016 :)
Going off of my last video of tips on starting and finishing your sketchbook, let's continue on this new year celebration chain of tackling common artist problems! This is ALL about finding inspiration and fighting that pesky artist's block!
Hello blog stalkers, it's time for another old artwork walkthrough. ;) This one is from September of 2016.
In line with New Year's resolutions and a fresh start, let's tackle a common problem I've seen, and experienced, amongst us artists--starting, and ultimately finishing, a sketchbook.
Hope ya'll are staying safe and warm (or cool, for those Southern hemisphere folks!) so far this year! Here's a little throwback to a few weeks ago when I drew this piece of an original character of mine :)
I hope things are going well for ya'll so far in 2018! Let's continue off the new year by pushing ourselves to do new things! (Or in some cases, old things, but like, doing more of it, I guess. x'D)
While I'm still pretty new at plein air, I figured I'd go ahead and share what I /do/ know, especially for those who want to but have never done it before. (GO DO IT!)
Happy 2018! :D I hope ya'll had a wonderful New Year and that this year will be fruitful for you! Let's get this year started by LEARNING! (The best way to start the year, let's be honest.)
I'll be going to be discussing a bit of an "older" tutorial today. (It's just a few months old lol) My sparkle tutorial! (If you haven't seen it, I really recommend it! It's a fun and easy trick with the added bonus of getting you more familiar with how Photoshop brushes work!)
It's the end of another year and the start of a new one! A lot sure as heck happened this year, let's talk about it :)
